Yeraldin Pascual Obituary, Death; – A woman in her twenties was fatally injured on Monday night in a hit-and-run incident after she exited a vehicle during a disturbance in west Fresno, according to police reports.
Officers arrived at approximately 8:15 p.m. at Hughes Avenue, situated between Nielsen and Belmont avenues, where they discovered the woman lying in the street, as stated by the Fresno Police Department.
She was transported to Community Regional Medical Center, where she was declared deceased.
Authorities indicated that the woman had left a vehicle following a disturbance when she was hit by a passing car. The driver then fled northbound on Hughes Avenue, according to police.
Detectives specializing in hit-and-run cases are currently investigating and are working to identify the vehicle involved. The Fresno County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office has identified the deceased woman as Yeraldin Pascual, 24, from Fresno.
