Victor Manuel Diaz Obituary, Death; – Last week, federal officials reported that an immigrant from Nicaragua was discovered deceased at a Texas immigration detention facility.
According to a statement from Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Victor Manuel Diaz seemingly took his own life on Wednesday at the extensive tent complex located at the U.S. Army’s Fort Bill base in El Paso. The federal inquiry into his death is ongoing.
This is the same facility where ICE indicated that another detainee passed away earlier this month while staff members attempted to prevent him from committing suicide. However, a fellow detainee claimed that at least five officers were restraining the handcuffed individual, with at least one officer having an arm around his neck.
