Samantha Nicole Dimaano Spradlin Obituary, Death; – A woman who died when the vehicle she was in hit a tree and split in half over the weekend on the 15 freeway has been identified. Samantha Nicole Dimaano Spradlin, 32, was announced as the deceased, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The crash occurred Saturday around 2:33 a.m. on highway 15, south of University Avenue, in San Diego, per California Highway Patrol. Authorities say Spradlin was driving north in the aforementioned location when the SUV left the road and hit a eucalyptus tree. The impact of the crash caused the vehicle to split in half and catch on fire. Spradlin was pronounced dead at the scene.
Medical officials confirmed the manner of death as an accident.
