Mark McGraw,Daved Brown Obituary, Death; – The Ohio State Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation into a fatal accident that occurred on Thursday in Medina County. As reported by OSHP, the incident took place at approximately 10:12 p.m. on I-71 in Westfield Township.

Authorities believe that a Volvo commercial vehicle traveling southbound on I-71 became immobilized in the right lane. Shortly thereafter, a 2018 Chevrolet Trax, also heading south on I-71, collided with the Volvo. OSHP further indicated that an unidentified third vehicle, described as a maroon or red commercial vehicle, also impacted the Volvo but subsequently left the scene.

The drivers of both the Chevrolet and the Volvo, identified as Mark McGraw from West Salem and 68-year-old Daved Brown from Cincinnati, respectively, were pronounced dead at the scene. The Ohio State Highway Patrol received assistance from the Medina County Sheriff’s Department, Westfield Township Fire and EMS, Seville Guilford Fire and EMS, the Ohio Department of Transportation, and Bear’s Towing during the response to the incident. Currently, the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
