Laurie Boice Obituary, Death; – The Tazewell County coroner has identified the pedestrian struck and killed by a pickup truck on Friday, Jan. 16.
Washington resident Laurie Boice sustained “multiple blunt force injuries” when she was struck, according to a preliminary autopsy.
Authorities were alerted that a pedestrian, later identified as Boice, was struck in the 2300 block of Washington Road between Meadow Lane and Briargate Road at 5:50 p.m. The 63-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. The case remains under investigation.
