Julie Stewart Obituary, Death; – A man has been charged with fleeing the scene of an accident following the death of a 41-year-old pedestrian in a car crash, according to police reports.
At approximately 10:25 p.m. on Sunday, Framingham police were dispatched to 1881 Worcester Rd. in response to a pedestrian accident. “Efforts to save lives were conducted at the scene,” stated the police. The victim, identified as Julie Stewart, 41, from Framingham, was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, where she was subsequently declared deceased. Authorities indicated that the driver did not stay at the scene but was later found and identified as
Stewart Anderson, 44, also from Framingham. The Middlesex District Attorney’s Office reported that the vehicle was discovered with “significant” damage to the front end.
Stewart’s bail has been set at $100,000, with the stipulation that he is not to operate a vehicle. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
