Jordyn Lyttle Obituary, Death; – The Bristol County District Attorney’s Office announced on Monday that a man from Fall River, who was cycling, was hit by a car and subsequently died. The driver responsible for the incident fled the scene.
The collision occurred around 5:15 p.m. on Sunday on Stafford Road. The district attorney confirmed that the cyclist was identified as 34-year-old Jordyn Lyttle.
“Upon arrival, troopers found Mr. Lyttle on the roadway with severe injuries,” stated a release. “He was transported for medical treatment but was pronounced dead a few hours later.”
Prosecutors indicated that Lyttle was riding his bicycle on Stafford Road when he was struck from behind by a green 2005 Subaru Legacy, which then left the scene.
“A second vehicle was also involved as Mr. Lyttle veered into the opposite lane of traffic after being hit by the Subaru,” the release noted. “The second vehicle remained at the scene.”
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
The district attorney’s office mentioned that there is no additional information available for release.
