David Brown Obituary, Death; – The Kane County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the deceased driver involved in a two-truck collision on Tuesday near Carpentersville as David Brown, 32, from Chicago.
According to the coroner’s office, Brown succumbed to multiple injuries. Toxicology samples have been forwarded to a forensic laboratory for analysis. The Kane County Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting an investigation into the incident, which occurred at 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Route 31 and Miller Road in Dundee Township.
Authorities report that Brown was operating a Freightliner truck loaded with sand, traveling east on Miller Road, when he failed to yield at a stop sign. His vehicle was subsequently struck by a Mack truck heading south on Route 31. Preliminary investigations indicate that Brown was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the truck as it overturned. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Mack truck was transported to a hospital in critical condition.
