Wilson Garcia-Miranda Obituary, Death; – Omaha Police officials announced on Tuesday the apprehension of a suspect in connection with the murder of a 16-year-old that occurred in September.
Eighteen-year-old Emerson Olivorio-Marroqui has been charged with first-degree murder in relation to the death of Wilson Garcia-Miranda, who was discovered fatally shot in South Omaha on the evening of Thursday, September 12. Law enforcement responded to the incident at 10:17 p.m. in the vicinity of Q and South 48th Streets, where they located the deceased teenager.
Subsequently, officers identified a second shooting victim a few blocks away. This individual, who was later determined to be the suspected shooter, was transported to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.
