Carleen A Smith,Donnie J Free Obituary, Death; – On December 9, Louisiana State Police reported that two pedestrians lost their lives in an accident on Highway 84, close to the 84 Quick Stop.
According to LSP, at approximately 9 p.m., Carleen A. Smith, aged 67, from Farmerville, and Donnie J. Free from Ferriday were walking on the roadway when they were struck by a 2018 Chevrolet Journey traveling east and a 2018 Dodge Challenger heading west. Both individuals suffered fatal injuries and were declared deceased at the scene.
Toxicology tests are currently being conducted as part of the routine procedure. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
