William Waggoner Jr Obituary, Death; – The identity of the man who was tragically killed when a deer crashed through the windshield of his vehicle has been disclosed by the Clay County Coroner.
As stated by Clay County Coroner Lexi Glass, the individual who lost his life in the incident has been identified as 55-year-old William Waggoner Jr.
Waggoner Jr. met his demise following a collision on State Road 46 near County Road 200 East during the early morning hours of October 30.
Clay County Sheriff Brison Swearingen reported that Waggoner Jr. was fatally injured after a deer collided with his vehicle on the roadway. The sheriff noted that the animal penetrated the windshield and struck Waggoner Jr.
The Clay County Coroner’s Office, along with the Center Point Volunteer Fire Department, Jackson Volunteer Fire Department, Bowling Green Volunteer Fire Department, and Star Ambulance Service, provided assistance at the scene.
