William Haywood Obituary, Death; – The Coroner’s Office of Fresno County has confirmed the identity of the individual who passed away after being struck by a vehicle late Saturday night in Fresno. On Monday, the coroner revealed that the deceased was 60-year-old William Haywood, a resident of Fresno.
According to the Fresno Police Department, officers responded to a call on Blackstone Avenue, near Saginaw Way, at approximately 11:15 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Haywood in the roadway, having been hit by a vehicle and sustaining severe injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities reported that the vehicle involved remained at the location of the incident, and the driver is fully cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
