Wayne Carl Kelchner Obituary, Death; – A 70-year-old man was fatally struck by an SUV on Wednesday evening while he was walking along a road in Upper Bucks County.
The Bucks County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased as Wayne Carl Kelchner. He was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital-Upper Bucks for treatment of his injuries, where he was subsequently pronounced dead.
Trooper Nathan Branosky, the public information officer for Pennsylvania State Police’s Troop M, reported that the incident occurred around 5 p.m. in the 1700 block of Allentown Road. A 55-year-old woman was driving a 2025 Chevrolet Trailblazer that collided with Kelchner, according to Branosky.
The investigation is ongoing by Pennsylvania State Police Troop M in Dublin. The Pennsylvania State Police’s Troop M Forensic Services Unit, the Dublin Criminal Investigation Unit, and the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office are also providing assistance in the investigation.
