Warren Stewart Obituary, Death; – A suspect has been apprehended in relation to a fatal shooting that occurred last week in northeast Austin.
According to the Austin police, 31-year-old Tevin Stewart has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of his brother, 36-year-old Warren Stewart.
Just prior to 10:30 p.m. on June 6, the Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services (ATCEMS) responded to a distress call from an individual requesting assistance in the 9800 block of Halifax Dr., located near East Rundberg Lane and Dessau Road.
First responders reported that they discovered Tevin Stewart indicating towards his brother, who was lying on the ground and appeared to have sustained gunshot wounds. Shortly thereafter, Austin police arrived at the scene, where Tevin Stewart purportedly confessed to shooting Warren Stewart.
Warren Stewart was pronounced dead at 11:09 p.m. Following a thorough investigation, law enforcement officials found that the brothers were cohabitating at the time of the incident.
