Taylor Wilkinson,John Obituary, Death; – Authorities have announced that a 47-year-old individual has been charged with two counts of second-degree murder and one count of attempted murder following a series of alleged assaults in Kingston, Ontario, which resulted in two fatalities and one serious injury.
Law enforcement reported that officers responded to an encampment located near a safe injection site and Integrated Care Hub at approximately 10:40 a.m. on Thursday after receiving a call regarding a severe assault.
It is alleged that the suspect may have been using either an edged or blunt weapon, or potentially both. According to police, the suspect was taken into custody after a lengthy negotiation process lasting several hours.
Officials indicated that the individual did not reside at the encampment but lived in a nearby residence. The suspect has since been remanded into custody. The deceased individuals have been identified as 38-year-old Taylor Wilkinson and 41-year-old John.
