Robert Holguin Obituary, Death; – A tragic incident occurred on Sunday afternoon in Oakland, resulting in the death of an individual following an attack by three dogs. The family of the deceased is now voicing their sentiments regarding the event.

The Oakland Police Department reported that the attack took place shortly before noon in the 1600 block of 36th Avenue, after receiving multiple reports concerning the situation. “He faced numerous challenges in life. He spent some time in prison and was recognized as a street preacher,” stated Alex Holguin, the brother of the victim.

Upon their arrival, law enforcement officers discovered an individual suffering from numerous dog bites, with the animals identified as a mix of Cane Corso and Neapolitan Mastiff. Despite the efforts of paramedics to provide immediate assistance, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Ali Alhidhani, a local store owner, remarked that he had encountered the dogs on several occasions, describing them as large and menacing. “I sincerely hope this does not happen to anyone else. It is my hope that owners of large dogs take this as a lesson,” Alhidhani expressed.

One individual associated with the incident has been taken into custody, according to the Oakland Police Department. As reported by the Mercury News, the dogs involved in the attack have been euthanized.

While the family is in mourning over their loss, they have expressed their willingness to forgive the owner of the dogs. “If you are listening, you are forgiven, and those who violate the law will ultimately face consequences,” Holguin remarked. “Naturally, we are heartbroken, but we find solace in knowing he is at peace and with God.”
