Phyllis Ogle,Bobby Ogle Obituary, Death; – The Charleston County Coroner has confirmed the identities of the mother and son who perished in a house fire in West Ashley, which has been classified as a murder-suicide incident.
Phyllis Ogle, aged 82, and her son Bobby Ogle, aged 61, both residents of Charleston, have been identified as the victims of the fire that was deliberately ignited near Seabago Drive in the West Ashley region, according to the coroner’s report.
Ms. Ogle succumbed to her injuries at the Medical University of South Carolina on September 8, resulting from the fire set by her son. Authorities have classified her death as a homicide.
Bobby Ogle, on the other hand, died at the scene due to injuries sustained in the fire, with his manner of death categorized as a suicide. The investigation is being conducted by the Charleston Police Department in conjunction with the Charleston Fire Department Fire Marshal.
