Myron Smith Obituary, Death; – The Metropolitan Police Department has apprehended two individuals aged 16 and one aged 14 following a robbery shooting that resulted in the death of a 14-year-old.
Details are as follows: Patrol officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 4000 block of South Capitol Street, SW, shortly before 2:30 p.m. on January 26.
Upon arrival, they discovered a 14-year-old male suffering from gunshot injuries. He was transported to a hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. The victim has been identified as Myron Smith from Southwest D.C.
On Monday morning, police announced the arrests of three teenagers in relation to the robbery and the subsequent shooting that claimed the life of the 14-year-old boy on Sunday afternoon.
One 14-year-old male faces charges of felony murder and possession of a firearm without a license, while the two 16-year-old males have been charged with possession of a firearm without a license.
