Mitchell Bowens Obituary, Death; – A driver who tragically lost his life while off-roading in Madison Township over the weekend has been named. Mitchell Bowens, aged 26, passed away at approximately 11:55 p.m. on November 2 on Woodsdale Road, as reported by the Butler County Coroner’s Office.
Emergency services, including deputies and the Madison Township Fire and Life Squad, responded to the single-vehicle accident around 11 p.m. that evening, according to a statement from the Butler County Sheriff’s Office. Initial investigations suggest that Bowens, the driver of a black Jeep, was engaged in off-road driving when the vehicle went over an embankment, resulting in a rollover.
Authorities confirmed that Bowens was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger was present in the vehicle and was transported to the hospital, but is anticipated to recover. The coroner reported that Bowens’ cause of death was due to a compression injury. The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
