Melissa Janvier Pablo Obituary, Death; – A woman from Chelsea, who was fatally shot on Friday morning, was identified later that same day, as announced by the office of Suffolk County District Attorney Kevin Hayden.
According to a statement from Hayden’s office, the incident occurred at approximately 8:45 a.m. when 32-year-old Melissa Janvier Pablo was shot near the intersection of Central Avenue and Marginal Street. The assailant reportedly fled the scene in a vehicle. One individual has been taken into custody in relation to the shooting and is currently being questioned by investigators, as indicated in the statement.
“Experiencing the loss of someone so young due to such a tragic act of violence is devastating for family, friends, and our entire community,” Hayden remarked in the statement. “I extend my gratitude to all those involved in this difficult case and offer my heartfelt condolences to everyone who knew and cherished Melissa Pablo.” The Massachusetts State Police are conducting an investigation into the shooting.
