Mark Pjetri Obituary, Death; – Authorities are conducting an investigation into the death of a man discovered unresponsive in a vehicle in Stamford on Tuesday.
Emergency responders arrived at the intersection of Avery Street and Cove Road at approximately 1:50 p.m. following a report of an individual who was unconscious in a vehicle and could not be roused by the caller, who indicated they were knocking on the windows, as stated by the Stamford Police Department.
The man was subsequently declared dead at the scene after officers, along with personnel from the Stamford Fire Department and Stamford Emergency Medical Services, arrived, according to police reports. He has been identified as 43-year-old Mark Pjetri, a resident of Stamford.
Police have indicated that the investigation is ongoing to ascertain whether there is any criminal aspect to the death. A representative from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner mentioned that Pjetri is scheduled to undergo an autopsy on Wednesday.
