Lyle Panepinto,Lauren Menkemeller Obituary, Death; – A plane crash in Lafourche Parish resulted in the deaths of two individuals, as reported by WWL on Thursday.
The incident occurred at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, with the wreckage located in a marshy region close to Raceland. Authorities identified the victims as Lyle Panepinto and Lauren Menkemeller. According to the New Orleans television station, only one wing of the aircraft was visible above the water’s surface.
Officials informed WWL that the plane was traveling from Belle Chasse to Houma. The search and rescue efforts were initiated but were subsequently suspended due to adverse conditions, including darkness and strong winds.
