Lukas Goodman Obituary, Death; – The individual who perished in a shed fire last week near Lynnwood has been officially identified.
At approximately 8 a.m. on December 2, firefighters were dispatched following reports of a house fire in the 20500 block of Larch Way, as stated by South County Fire. Upon arrival, crews discovered that the blaze was located in a shed utilized as a living space adjacent to the main residence. A resident of the property attempted to extinguish the flames using a garden hose but was unable to do so.
Firefighters successfully contained the fire, preventing it from spreading to the main house, and managed to extinguish the flames within approximately five minutes.
Inside the shed, they discovered the body of Lukas Goodman, aged 24. The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office indicated that the cause and manner of his death remain under investigation this week.
The cause of the fire is still being examined, as reported by investigator Aaron Parker from the Snohomish County Fire Marshal’s Office on Wednesday. A spokesperson from the sheriff’s office mentioned last week that the fire is not being treated as suspicious.
