Luis Alonzo Obituary, Death;- Warwick police have identified a man who was killed last month when his car crashed into a pole and caught fire.
Police said the driver was positively identified last week as 25-year-old Luis Alonzo of Pawtucket. They said the identification was made using DNA.
Police said officers were called to Post Road and Airport Road before 1 a.m. on Nov. 10 for the single-car crash.
Firefighters found the driver dead in the car. According to police, the car was apparently speeding on Airport Road when a witness said it went across Post Road and directly into a pole holding a traffic light.
