Lindsay Holt Obituary, – A woman from Vermont has lost her life following an incident in which the pickup truck she was operating veered off the road and collided with a tree along the highway in Bethel early Saturday morning.
According to the Vermont State Police, officers responded to the single-vehicle accident on Interstate 89 northbound, near mile marker 26.2, at approximately 5:34 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered a severely damaged Toyota Tundra that had impacted a tree situated in the median.
The driver, identified as 41-year-old Lindsay Holt from Plainfield, succumbed to her injuries at the scene, as reported by the police.
Her passenger, 45-year-old Justin Jeror from Enfield, New Hampshire, was transported to Gifford Medical Center with minor injuries. Both individuals were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
As per police statements, Jeror indicated that Holt was driving northbound on I-89 when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree, resulting in significant front-end damage to the truck and fatal injuries to Holt.
Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the truck’s departure from the roadway. At the time of the incident, the weather conditions were cloudy and dark, but the road was dry. An investigation into the matter is currently underway.
