Léonor Geraudie,Vérane Reynaud Geraudie Obituary, Death; – Authorities have announced the arrest of two individuals in connection with a fire that occurred last week in Old Montreal, resulting in the tragic deaths of two French citizens.
The victims, identified as 43-year-old Léonor Geraudie and her seven-year-old daughter, Vérane Reynaud Geraudie, lost their lives in the blaze that took place on October 4 on Notre-Dame Street East.
According to police reports, at the time of the fire, there were 25 occupants within the building, which contained a restaurant and wine bar on the ground floor, as well as a 19-room hostel situated above. Further information regarding the investigation will be provided during a news conference scheduled for this afternoon.
