Layla Chrissa Clemons,Jaea Chatman Obituary, Death; – Two 17-year-old girls who were killed in a hit-and-run crash in West Sacramento on Saturday night have been identified.
The Yolo County coroner and a family member identified one of the teens as Layla Chrissa Clemons. The other victim was identified as Jaea Chatman.
Officers with the West Sacramento Police Department first said they responded to a vehicle crash that involved a pedestrian around 9 p.m. at Jefferson Boulevard and Bevan Road. After an investigation overnight, a vehicle and suspect were identified, police said.
On Sunday, officers arrested 71-year-old David Alison Walker, of Fair Oaks, in connection with the crash. West Sacramento police said the Vacaville Police Department helped detain Walker.
