Lambert M Meyer Obituary, Death; – The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the individual who lost their life in a vehicle collision in the Town of Dunn on May 4 as Lambert M. Meyer, a 69-year-old resident of Milwaukee. The incident took place near the intersection of Hwy. 51 and County B, with authorities being notified at approximately 8:20 p.m.
Meyer was declared deceased at the scene. A forensic examination was conducted on May 5, and initial findings indicate that the cause of death was injuries sustained in the accident. Further testing is currently in progress, and the case is still under investigation by both the Dane County Sheriff’s Office and the Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office. As reported by the Dane County Sheriff’s Office, an SUV traveling northbound on Hwy. 51 veered across the centerline and collided head-on with a southbound pickup truck. The 47-year-old driver of the pickup was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
