Karen Zincke,David Zincke Obituary, Death; – Coroners have identified the two people found dead inside an apartment in northwest suburban Palatine last Friday night, area police said Monday. Coroners say the victims are related.
Authorities say 84-year-old Karen Zincke and her son, 57-year-old David Zincke, were found dead with apparent gunshot wounds inside an apartment in the 1000 block of North Sterling Avenue just before 9:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24.
Police recovered a firearm at the scene. An investigation continues, though police say they do not believe that there is any threat to the public.
