Kaitlyn Carroll Arrested; – An Ottertail County woman is set to serve 74 months after pleading guilty to third degree murder after a man she sold fentanyl to died.
Kaitlyn Carroll of Elizabeth, Minnesota was charged in October of 2024 after selling drugs to a man hours before police found him dead. Court records say they found a discussion between Carroll and the victim on his phone related to the sale of 0.3 grams of fentanyl from Carroll.
She pled guilty in a plea agreement in June of 2025.
Carroll will now serve her sentence at the Minnesota Correctional Facility in Shakopee with credit for 281 days served.
