Joseph Armstrong Obituary, Death; – The Jefferson Parish Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the Kenner man who lost his life in a single-vehicle accident last week.
Joseph Armstrong, aged 26, sustained fatal injuries in the incident that took place on November 25. The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting an investigation into the accident.
Deputies were sent to the intersection of Clearview Parkway and Jasper Street shortly before 10:30 p.m.
According to Capt. Jason Rivarde, a spokesperson for the Sheriff’s Office, a pickup truck traveling north on Clearview veered off the road and collided with a tree. Armstrong, who was driving the truck, was transported to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
Investigators are uncertain about the factors that led to Armstrong losing control of the vehicle. Toxicology tests will be conducted.
