Jose Figueroa Jr Obituary, Death; – A man who was shot and killed in Lancaster over the weekend was identified by county officials on Monday.
The shooting incident was reported at 12:07 a.m. on Sunday in the 1700 block of East Avenue J-4, as stated by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies who were sent to the location found a man in a parking lot suffering from gunshot injuries. The victim, later identified by the county medical examiner as Jose Figueroa Jr., aged 22, was declared dead at the scene by paramedics.
The residence of Figueroa was not made public.
“Investigators discovered that the victim was engaged in an altercation when a suspect brandished a firearm and shot him. The suspect then fled the scene in a vehicle heading east through the complex,” according to the sheriff’s department.
