Johnny Bryant Obituary, Death; – The Nueces County Medical Examiner has confirmed the identity of the motorcyclist who lost his life in the accident over the weekend on Airline and Holly Road as 64-year-old Johnny Bryant.
Authorities are currently investigating the deadly two-vehicle collision, which occurred on Saturday at 7:26 a.m. According to investigators, the driver of a pickup truck was traveling west on Holly Road before making a turn south onto Airline, at which point the motorcyclist, who was heading east, was struck.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. Fortunately, the pickup truck driver did not sustain any injuries. Police reported that the pickup driver was not under the influence of alcohol but received a citation for failing to yield the right of way.
