John Iskra Obituary, Death; – The individual who passed away after becoming trapped in a wood chipper on Monday afternoon has been named.

Bucks County Coroner Patti Campi confirmed that John Iskra from Feasterville-Trevose was the individual involved in the incident at a work site located on Valley View Road, according to police reports.

Campi indicated that the determination of the manner of death and the cause of the accident remains under investigation. Police Chief Ted Krimmel stated that police, fire personnel, and EMS were dispatched to the unit block of Valley View Road for an industrial rescue operation.

Authorities discovered a man in his sixties who was ensnared in a wood chipper. According to police, he succumbed to his injuries. Action News 6 reported that the man was engaged in outdoor work when a part of his body became entangled in the machinery.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this challenging time,” the police chief remarked.

Police units responded in conjunction with the Lower Southampton and Penndel fire departments, the Tri-Hampton Rescue Squad, and the Bucks County Coroner’s Office.
