Jigneshkumar Patel Obituary, Death; – A fatal incident occurred when a vehicle struck a pedestrian near Pryor in Mayes County. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, at approximately 10:48 p.m., a 2019 Chevy Tahoe, operated by 27-year-old Cory Ward, was traveling northbound on Highway 69 close to County Road EW 540.
The pedestrian, identified as 36-year-old Jigneshkumar Patel, was in the roadway at the time of the collision. Authorities have not determined the reason for Patel’s presence on the road. Ward did not sustain any injuries.
