Jessica Sellers,Coleton Sellers Obituary, Death; – The Carroll County Coroner has confirmed the identities of the four individuals who lost their lives in a tragic fire that consumed a two-story residence in Carrollton, Kentucky, last Thursday.
Coroner Brent Stucker identified the deceased as Jessica Sellers, aged 42; Coleton Sellers, aged 18; Deacon Sellers, aged 10; and Emilee Boswell, aged 25. Jessica was the mother of the other three victims.
According to Detective and Public Information Officer David Roberts of the Carrollton Police Department, emergency crews were dispatched to the home located in the 200 block of Fifth Street at approximately 6 a.m. on October 17. Officers arrived shortly thereafter and attempted to enter the fully engulfed structure.
A 3-year-old girl who was also trapped in the fire was rescued from the building and subsequently airlifted to a hospital in Louisville for further treatment after initially being taken to a local facility. She is reported to be “continuing to improve,” as stated by Officer Roberts in a Saturday update. The investigation is being conducted by the Carrollton Police Department with support from the Kentucky State Police.
