Jatinder Singh Obituary, Death; – The Kern County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of a man who was fatally shot on New Year’s Day as 39-year-old Jatinder Singh from Bakersfield.
The Bakersfield Police Department reported on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, that at approximately 5:16 p.m., officers responded to a shooting incident in the 2100 block of Casa Loma Drive.
Police indicated that as of June 9, 2025, no arrests have been made.

Upon arrival, officers discovered Singh with visible gunshot wounds, and he was later declared dead at the scene.
