Jaslin Avila,Cynthia Garcia Morales Obituary, Death; – Authorities have identified two women who lost their lives in a collision that also resulted in injuries to several children near a West Valley freeway last week.
At approximately 5:30 p.m. on November 28, emergency responders from Glendale and Peoria were called to the scene of the accident off the Loop 101 and Bell Road.
Police report that the incident involved a silver Hyundai driven by one individual, and a white GMC carrying two women and three children.
According to Glendale Police, the two women succumbed to their injuries. The women were named on Monday as driver Jaslin Avila, aged 21, and passenger Cynthia Garcia Morales, aged 24. The three children sustained various injuries but are all anticipated to recover.
Authorities have not clarified whether the woman driving the Hyundai sustained injuries in the incident.
The investigation remains active.
