Jamir Alexander Obituary, Death; – A 21-year-old individual lost his life on Sunday morning due to a collision in Grand Rapids Township, as reported by law enforcement officials. The incident occurred at approximately 5:05 a.m. at the intersection of Cascade Road SE and E. Beltline Avenue SE, according to the Michigan State Police.

(Courtesy James Alexander)ities indicate that a vehicle traveling east on Cascade Road disregarded a red traffic signal and subsequently collided with a northbound box truck. The passenger in the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene, identified by state police as Jamir Alexander, a resident of Grand Rapids, aged 21.

The driver of the vehicle, also a 21-year-old man from Grand Rapids, along with the box truck driver, sustained serious injuries and were transported to a medical facility, as stated by the troopers.

Investigators suspect that alcohol may have played a role in the incident; however, no arrests had been made as of Wednesday afternoon, according to a spokesperson for the Michigan State Police. The investigation is ongoing.
