James Shaw Obituary, Death; – The identity of the individual who perished in a collision in Cass County at the beginning of the weekend has now been confirmed. James Shaw, aged 24, reportedly lost control of his vehicle, resulting in it overturning and sliding down an embankment before colliding with a tree.
According to law enforcement, the incident occurred at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Friday along Teasdale Lake Street, just west of Robbins Lake Road. It has been noted that Shaw was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
A passenger, who was wearing a seatbelt, sustained minor injuries and was subsequently transported to the hospital. Authorities indicate that excessive speed, along with the influence of drugs and alcohol, are suspected to have contributed to the crash.
