James Politoski Obituary, Death;- On Tuesday, authorities disclosed the identity of a man who lost his life in a driving lesson accident in Laguna Beach. The deceased has been named as James Politoski, aged 64, from Laguna Beach, as reported by the Orange County sheriff’s coroner department.
According to the Laguna Beach Police Department, Politoski was seated in the passenger side of a vehicle shortly before 4:15 p.m. on Monday when it collided with a fence in the upper parking area of the now-closed Gelson’s Market located at 24 Monarch Bay Plaza. The car then proceeded down an embankment before halting on Coast Highway, as stated by the police.
The man’s 15-year-old daughter, who possessed a driver’s permit, was operating the vehicle and suffered serious injuries, according to police reports. She was transported to Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, where she remained on Tuesday but was anticipated to recover, as per police information.
