Jalik Bethea Obituary, Death; – The coroner of Dillon County has confirmed that a shooting incident that occurred last week in Dillon resulted in another fatality.
Coroner Donnie Grimsley reported that two individuals have now lost their lives following a shooting that took place on Thursday on East Dargan Street.
Grimsley has identified the deceased as 30-year-old Jalik Bethea from Dillon County and 60-year-old Alex Braxton, who also hails from Dillon County.
Chief David Lane of the Dillon Police Department stated that officers were dispatched to the scene of the shooting on East Dargan Street at approximately 5 p.m., where they discovered that Bethea and Braxton had sustained gunshot wounds.
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division is currently providing assistance to the Dillon Police Department in the ongoing homicide investigation.
As of now, no arrests have been made.
