Jacy Meier Obituary, Death; – A man from Livermore, who had a significant criminal record, passed away early Saturday morning following a collision involving an allegedly stolen vehicle in Oakland.
According to police reports, the individual, identified by the Alameda County Coroner’s Office as 45-year-old Jacy Meier, was driving at high speed in the eastbound lanes of San Leandro Street near 51st Avenue when he crashed into a utility pole around 3:45 a.m. The vehicle was reported stolen from a nearby city, as stated by law enforcement.
Emergency medical personnel arrived at the scene and declared Meier, the sole occupant of the vehicle, deceased. Authorities have not yet determined whether drugs or alcohol were factors in the incident. Meier had a lengthy history of both felony and misdemeanor charges spanning over two decades.
