Jacobo E. Wilson Obituary, Death; – Jacobo E. Wilson, a resident of Harrisonburg, has been identified by investigators as the individual who tragically lost his life after colliding with a utility pole on the opposite side of the road in Rockingham County.
Virginia State Police report that Wilson was traveling northbound in the 2000 block of Kratzer Road at a high speed when he attempted to overtake another vehicle. During this maneuver, he crossed the double yellow line, lost control of his motorcycle, veered off the left side of the roadway, and struck the utility pole.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have indicated that Wilson was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident, which is currently under investigation.
