J Garland Combs,Zachary Hall Obituary, Death; – Deputies in Perry County are investigating after a two-vehicle crash in the Grapevine community left two people dead on Wednesday.
According to the Perry County Sheriff’s Office, it happened on North Highway 15 in the Grapevine community. Deputies wrote on Facebook that when they got to the scene of the crash, bystanders had already helped three people out of one of the vehicles involved.
The conditions of those three were not specified.
The sheriff’s office wrote that two people involved in the crash had died.
On Thursday, the Perry County Coroner’s Office told FOX 56 News that J. Garland Combs, 79, of Perry County, and Zachary Hall, 20, of Knott County, were both declared dead at the scene on Wednesday.
“This incident remains under active investigation by the Perry County Sheriff’s Office,” deputies wrote. “Further details will be released as they become available.”
The deadly crash investigation remains ongoing.
