Heather Fennell Obituary, Death; – A middle school educator has been recognized as the victim in a death investigation taking place in Pender County.
According to the State Bureau of Investigation, the deceased woman discovered in a residence in Hampstead on Wednesday was identified as Heather Fennell. Pender County Schools has confirmed that the 46-year-old Fennell was a 6th-grade teacher at Topsail Middle School.
Her remains were located yesterday at her home on Saw Grass Road. The Pender County Sheriff’s Office has requested assistance from the SBI in the ongoing death investigation. The SBI has stated that a medical examiner will ascertain the cause of the teacher’s death.
