Gregory Ryan Miles Arrested; – On Friday, the Broomfield police announced the identification of a 34-year-old man believed to have fatally shot a woman during an active shooter incident at an apartment complex the previous day.
Gregory Ryan Miles is facing charges of first-degree murder among others in connection with the shooting that occurred on Thursday at the Arista Flats apartments.
During a standoff lasting approximately four hours, law enforcement officers shot Miles multiple times. Authorities reported on Friday that he has been stabilized at a hospital following serious injuries.
Police stated in a news release, “No additional information can be released at this time due to the complexity of the investigation.” The identity of the woman allegedly killed by Miles has not yet been disclosed. Authorities indicated that she was present in the apartment with him during the standoff.
