Gregory Ricardo Calderon, a resident of Bakersfield, was struck by a vehicle on June 9 at approximately 3:36 p.m. at the intersection of 11th Street and Chester Avenue, as reported by coroner officials. He was declared deceased at Kern Medical on June 17. The Bakersfield Police Department is currently conducting an investigation into this incident.
