Eugene Gillyard Jr,Crystal Howard Obituary, Death;- The Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office has disclosed the identities of the two individuals who lost their lives early Monday when their vehicle was hit by a train.
Eugene Gillyard Jr., aged 24, and Crystal Howard, aged 36, were pronounced dead at 2:09 a.m. following the arrival of first responders at the location.
As per preliminary details from the Shreveport Police Department, which is currently conducting an investigation, the Nissan Armada they were in reportedly went past the illuminated caution arm along the tracks that run parallel to Interstate 49 and crossed East 85th Street near Fairfield Avenue. Investigators stated that Gillyard and Howard were thrown from the Nissan. The SPD also reported on Monday that a third passenger survived the incident involving the northbound train.
