Ernie Lee Jordan Obituary, Death; – A woman was apprehended following a fatal shooting in Eastman on Saturday, as reported by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
The incident occurred on the 200 block of 1st Avenue at approximately 1:00 a.m.
Eastman police officers found a man, later identified as 44-year-old Ernie Lee Jordan, who had sustained gunshot wounds, and he was transported to a trauma center in critical condition.
On the same day, GBI agents arrested and charged 29-year-old Daysia Kiwanna Bolden with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of or attempt to commit certain crimes.
However, the GBI confirmed to WGXA that Jordan succumbed to his injuries on Sunday afternoon. Now, Bolden is currently detained at the Dodge County Jail, where she may face further charges.
